What Could Be Better

Three honest knocks — one of them got worse this year.

1. It's expensive, and 2026 raised the ceiling

As of September 3, 2026, All Access is $329.95/month for CORE, $449.95 for MAX, and $849.95 for the new MVP tier at list — $229.95 / $349.95 / $599.95 if you use the Stokastic avatar on DK and FanDuel. NFL moved from $39.95/$54.95 to $44.95/$64.95 per week and from $129.95/$179.95 to $149.95/$229.95 per month for CORE/MAX ahead of the season, and MVP is $349.95/month on any of the three sports Splash Play covers. NBA, MLB, PGA, NHL, NASCAR, and MMA didn't change. This is priced for players with real volume, and it should be evaluated that way: if the simulator adds a few points of ROI on $500+ a week of entries, it's cheap. If you're playing $20 a slate, it isn't.

2. No free trial

Still none. The cheapest test is a weekly single-sport plan — NASCAR or MMA from $19.95, NBA or MLB CORE at $39.95, NFL CORE at $44.95 — with code SPLASH taking 10% off that first week. A true trial tier would be better; in its absence, a week is a fair test.

3. Everyone's building from the same numbers

This is the structural one, and it isn't really Stokastic's fault — it's what happens when a tool is this good. Thousands of players run the same default projections through the same simulator, so lineups built purely on Stokastic's numbers overlap heavily with the field. In a 150-max GPP that's the difference between a good lineup and a winning one. The fix is below.

CORE is projections, ownership, live ownership, and the single-lineup simulator, with 2K-lineup caps on the Contest Generator and Pre-Contest Simulator. MAX adds the advanced sim data — boom/bust, top stacks, player stats — and raises the caps to 5K-10K lineups, which is where most serious GPP players live. MVP is new for 2026 and is Stokastic's most powerful package: 25K-50K lineup caps for players mass multi-entering every slate. My honest read: most people should start on CORE or MAX. NFL weekly went from $39.95/$54.95 to $44.95/$64.95 and NFL monthly from $129.95/$179.95 to $149.95/$229.95 for CORE/MAX, and Stokastic added a new top tier, MVP, at $849.95/month on All Access ($599.95 with the avatar). Prices for NBA, MLB, PGA, NHL, NASCAR, and MMA did not change. Because SPLASH is a percentage discount, it is worth more in dollars than it used to be — $85 off a first MVP month.

No. As of September 2026 there is no free trial.
